Painting Instruction

1. Colour: The blue paint is mixed at DIY stores and has the colour number S 2565-R80B at Hornbach (other DIY stores can usually mix the paint according to the Hornbach colour number). To save paint, it is advisable to pour the blue paint into empty jam jars or other resealable containers when painting. This will prevent it from drying out before the next painting session.

2. Sort shoes: Only use clean shoes for painting. Shoes that contain large amounts of fabric, knitwear or faux fur are not suitable. Knee-high women's boots are also not suitable.

3. Painting blue: When painting with blue paint, it is important to dip the brush in water before you start and repeatedly during the process. All visible areas of the shoe should be painted blue – this includes the laces, which should be tied before painting. If the paint is not opaque after the first coat, allow the paint to dry and apply a second coat.
Important! After painting, it is important to keep the shoes together in pairs.

As shown here, there should be no white spots visible on the shoes after painting.
