On Earth Day – Wednesday, 22 April 2026 – Blue Demonstration e.V. will present the Blue17Circles project together with schools from 17 countries.

The goal: to create a global, interactive work of art for sustainable development as a call for a change in thinking, driven by action rather than stagnation.
 
In 17 cities around the globe, large letters in the shape of a circle will be created in public spaces – made from old blue shoes and erected by schoolchildren from the respective cities. Each circle (letter) represents a syllable of the future global web address for sustainable development. 

The work is a journey of discovery that challenges people to think:
because the new global web address only becomes visible through a change in mindset.
